Molly Lou Chimp discovers finger painting and becomes world famous. Ned Chimp has to take on the home and family duties and feels abandoned by his wife. In an attempt to cheer him up, the Zoo Director gives Ned a piano. Soon all the animals are rocking to the rhythms of Hi-Chimp Ho-Chimp Hay-Chimp-Hay. International fame is next. In the end, Molly finds her greatest pride was in her mate, and once again the Zoo Chimps are a family. Profusely illustrated with black and white drawings by Louise Myerberg.
