Famous clockmakers, both European and American, and the patronage by Royalty of clockmakers all over Europe, are described in some detail. The 136 illustrations include old prints of clockmakers and diagrams of clock mechanizms; and among the color photos are beautiful French and Italin clocks of the 17th and 18th centuries.
